Senior Game Designer Ondřej Bittner highlighted a new stealth mechanic involving accumulating dirt and grime, leading to a "body odor" debuff that alerts nearby enemies. The inclusion of "handgonnes," historically accurate early firearms with their inherent limitations (inaccuracy, long reload times, safety concerns), adds another layer of authenticity, even if intended as a somewhat humorous element.
