Infinity Nikki Delays Version 1.6 Amid Community Outcry
Following weeks of anticipation and queries from the community, the developers of Infinity Nikki have finally addressed the concerns surrounding the tumultuous rollout of Version 1.5. Many players felt the update was incomplete and lacked polish, and now the team has acknowledged that they were unprepared for the launch. As a result, the release of Version 1.6 has been postponed.
When Will the Update Be Released?
Originally scheduled for June 4th, Version 1.6 has been rescheduled for June 12th. In the meantime, the ongoing Bubble Season will continue, keeping popular events such as Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties? active until the update. Additionally, stores like Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! Top-Up Event will remain open. Weekly activities, including Starlit Pursuit, initially planned for May 20th, will now debut alongside Version 1.6.
The development team has issued an apology and explained that they are addressing performance issues across platforms, including PlayStation. They assure players that storylines like Threads of Reunion, which some feared had been abandoned, are still in progress and merely delayed.
Beyond the Version 1.6 Delay
In recent months, the game has been plagued by numerous technical glitches, quest breakdowns, and cooperative mode failures. To compensate for these setbacks, players will receive 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal daily from June 5th to June 12th, but only if they log in consistently during this period.
Some gamers view this gesture as an attempt to revive user engagement following their missteps. Others are frustrated by the timing of promotional content for new outfits, which appeared shortly after the apology announcement.
