Way of the Hunter: Wild America is coming to mobile devices, bringing its expansive open-world hunting experience to smartphones and tablets. PC players will recognize the acclaimed gameplay, originally launched by Nine Rocks Games in August 2022.
Will the Mobile Version Be Complete?
While some graphical adjustments are expected given the limitations of mobile hardware compared to PCs, the core gameplay and DLC will be included post-launch. Currently in beta testing, THQ Nordic and HandyGames plan a mobile release soon. A closed beta test signup is available via a form on their official X (formerly Twitter) account.
A Top-Tier Hunting Simulator?
Way of the Hunter challenges players with realistic wildlife tracking and strategic hunting. Set in vast, open-world environments inspired by the US and Europe (a 55-square-mile hunting ground!), the game features authentic weaponry, from rifles to bows. Detailed tracking, including blood spatter analysis, helps secure trophies.
The game's dynamic ecosystem responds to player actions. Overhunting in one area will cause animals to relocate. An in-game economy allows players to sell meat to purchase better equipment, hunting licenses, and taxidermy trophies for their lodge. Both campaign and co-op modes are featured, and the mobile version will offer full controller support.For more information, visit the official website.
