Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" Launches, Concludes Penacony Chapter
Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," has arrived, bringing the Penacony chapter to a close. This update introduces new characters, events, and features before the Astral Express journeys to Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.
This major update features two new 5-star characters:
- Sunday: A 5-star Imaginary character focused on team synergy. His abilities boost ally damage and summon damage, with his ultimate providing regeneration and further damage enhancements.
- Fugue: A reimagined 5-star Fire character, a survivor of the Phantylia confrontation. Fugue excels at shattering enemy defenses, weakening opponents and boosting squadmate Break Effect damage.
The limited Warp event also returns fan-favorite characters Jing Yuan and Firefly. Version 2.7 also adds new in-game features, including a relaxing Party Car and customizable Trailblazer quarters accessible through the Cosmic Home Décor Guide event. Future updates are already on the horizon. Version 3.0 promises improvements to the Relic system, the continuation of the Path of Remembrance storyline, and new content including memosprites. A free 5-star character is available through the Gift of the Express event, lasting until Version 3.2.
