Fans of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor were thrilled to see new figures included in this latest wave of Star Wars toys. Nightsister Merrin is now available in a new figure, while the series protagonist Cal Kestis comes in a dynamic three-pack set with Turgle and Skoova Stev. A highlight is Cal's multiple interchangeable heads, including one sporting a handlebar mustache. Jing Houle shared the creative process behind this set.
"We really wanted to inject fun into this," Houle explained to IGN. "This is one of our favorite reveals from the panel. We started with the handlebar mustache and mullet, then added the clean-cut look and the short beard. The handlebar mustache became our primary focus—it's just so much fun."
The inclusion of Merrin was a natural choice given her significant role in the Fallen Order/Survivor saga. The challenge lay in accurately capturing her unique Force abilities.
"Cal and Merrin are inseparable," Reiff noted. "We're thrilled to finally bring Merrin to life, especially with the green blast effect of her Force powers, the intricate details of her new costume, and the precision of her face tattoos using inkjet printing. She's a beloved character, and we're excited to enrich her world for the fans."
This year's lineup also featured updates to familiar faces like Han Solo and Chewbacca. Despite the numerous iterations over the years, Houle emphasized the importance of continuous improvement.
"It's been a while since we've revisited them," Houle stated. "We've given them entirely new tools and the latest articulation, ensuring fans can enjoy these classic characters with modern technology. We've learned a lot from previous Wookiee figures, especially with managing long hair using softer plastics for seamless movement. For Han, we added articulation to the top of the boot to maintain the integrity of his iconic red stripes."

Among the standout figures is The Ronin, inspired by the Star Wars: Visions anime anthology. This Celebration-exclusive figure remains true to its source with a black-and-white design accented only by the red katana lightsaber. Both Houle and Reiff highlighted the meticulous attention to detail in this release.
"We stayed true to the original design," Houle said. "Drawing from Japanese culture, we created a premium package with magnetic openings, clean aesthetics, and hidden accessories. The watercoloring and exclusive Japanese language packaging really set this figure apart."
Reiff added, "We usually don't use Japanese text for packaging, but given our location in Japan, we wanted to fully embrace the culture with this special edition."
Hasbro also unveiled a new addition to their 1:1 scale Black Series helmet line: the intricately detailed Death Trooper helmet. Reiff described this latest offering.
"This is a brand new, fully tooled helmet for the Black Series Premium roleplay line," Reiff said. "It looks like it's straight out of the movie with its weathering and lighting details. You can control the chin lights and spectre sensor lights with a button on the side. We worked closely with Lucasfilm to capture every detail accurately, and we've added a detailed interior, which the original helmets never had."
