The Imaginarium Theater, which complements the Spiral Abyss, requires players to invest horizontally by utilizing a diverse range of characters across different Elements.

To succeed in the monthly challenges of the Imaginarium Theater, players must have a well-rounded roster of characters from various Elements. Each month, the theater limits players to using only three specific Elements, with a few exceptions, and offers cosmetic rewards like Envisaged Echoes and Thespian Tricks for completing its Acts.

A screenshot from the beta servers, shared by Firefly Leaks, has provided Genshin Impact players with an early glimpse of the new Imaginarium Theater rewards for Version 5.4. The upcoming Thespian Tricks will showcase Barbara, Sethos, Chiori, and Baizhu. Notably, Chiori, who had a rerun in Version 5.1, and Baizhu, set to appear in the new Chronicled Banner, will be available before Version 5.4.

Typically used in Mono Geo teams, Chiori also excels when paired with Navia or as part of an off-field Double Geo core with Zhongli.

While Version 5.4 may seem modest compared to the current update, lacking new map expansions, Archon Quests, or Artifact Domains, and introducing only one new character, it will feature a significant Flagship Event set in Inazuma. This event has been eagerly anticipated by the player base. Additionally, Version 5.4 will introduce Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-star Anemo Catalyst, who will star in both the Flagship Event and her own Story Quest. The release of Version 5.4 is scheduled for February 12, 2025.
