Forspoken Panned by PS Plus Users

Forspoken, despite its free PS Plus offering, continues to spark heated debate among players nearly a year post-release. The game's inclusion in the December 2024 PS Plus Extra and Premium lineup generated surprisingly positive initial reactions, with many expressing excitement.

However, this enthusiasm has been tempered. Many free-to-play users, after a few hours, abandoned Forspoken, criticizing its "ridiculous dialogue" and weak storyline. While some appreciated the combat, parkour mechanics, and exploration, the consensus leans towards the game's unenjoyability stemming from its narrative flaws.

The inconsistent nature of Forspoken appears to have prevented a PS Plus revival. The game follows Frey, a young New Yorker, transported to the breathtaking yet perilous land of Athia. Armed with newfound magical abilities, Frey must navigate Athia's vast landscapes, battle formidable creatures, and overcome powerful matriarchs known as the Tants to ultimately return home.
