Celebrate Like a Dragon's 20th Anniversary with RGG Studio!
Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studio is giving fans a voice in shaping the celebration of the Like a Dragon (LAD) franchise's 20th anniversary, culminating in December 2025. A unique fan vote is underway, allowing players to select their favorite in-game items to be transformed into official merchandise.
Merchandise Voting Extends to March 21, 2025
One hundred iconic items are up for grabs, ranging from lingerie and incense to mahjong tiles, karaoke microphones, and even Kiryu's dragon mask. The winning item, as determined by fan votes (one vote per day, until March 21st), will be produced and released within two years. A subsequent survey will finalize the design of the winning merchandise.
Potential for More Yakuza Remakes?
RGG Studio's December 8, 2024, announcement hinted at a significant 20th-anniversary celebration. While the merchandise vote is in full swing, and the upcoming Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (releasing February 20, 2025) is generating excitement, the possibility of further announcements, including potential remakes (similar to the 10th anniversary), remains a strong fan expectation.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii PC Requirements
Announced on February 10, 2025, the PC requirements for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii are surprisingly accessible. An Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent is recommended, making the game playable on most modern gaming PCs. Compatibility with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam Deck is also confirmed.
