Delta Force Joins Mobile World Thanks to Garena and TiMi Collaboration
Garena's Delta Force: A Global Tactical FPS Launch
Get ready for the global release of Delta Force, courtesy of Garena! Previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, this tactical first-person shooter (FPS) is launching a PC Open Beta on December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025.
Developed initially by NovaLogic and later taken over by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of COD Mobile), Delta Force is now being brought to global audiences through a partnership with Garena. The game will feature cross-progression between PC and mobile platforms. Garena and TiMi plan a 2025 launch in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.
What Awaits in Garena's Delta Force?
Delta Force offers two exciting modes:
- Warfare: Engage in large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air. Teams of four operators fight for dominance.
- Operations: Experience high-stakes extraction shooter missions with three-person squads. Scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and fight to reach extraction points before time runs out.
Loot acquired can be used in future matches or exchanged for in-game currency. Players can also eliminate opponents to seize their gear. The game features bosses, restricted areas, and special missions scattered throughout the map. A rare item, the MandelBrick, grants access to exclusive skins, but its discovery broadcasts your location to other players.
