Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation Soaks Up the Sun in New Trailer

Koei Tecmo has unveiled a new trailer for Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation PRISM, a romance game spin-off of their popular fighting game franchise.

Launching March 27th on PS5, PS4, and PC, a special "global version" will be available in Asia featuring English text support. The game promises a tropical island setting filled with mini-games, character customization, and opportunities to build relationships with the heroines within a romantic storyline.

Venus Vacation PRISM aims to provide a unique experience for Dead or Alive fans, diverging from the core fighting game mechanics while retaining the series' signature style.

However, the franchise's history with fan-created content highlights a contrasting element. Despite the series' popularity and the affection fans hold for its characters, Koei Tecmo annually removes hundreds of doujinshi and thousands of images depicting the characters in suggestive situations. This ongoing effort underscores the publisher's stance on unauthorized adult fan content, even as they embrace new avenues for fan engagement through titles like Venus Vacation PRISM.
