Crunchyroll Drops Roguelike Rhythm Game Crypt Of The NecroDancer On Android

Crunchyroll brings the rhythm-based roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, to Android! Now available as "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," this beat-matching adventure offers a unique mobile experience. Initially released on PC in 2015, and previously on iOS and Android, this version boasts expanded content.

What's Crypt of the NecroDancer About?

Players take on the role of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter searching for her missing parent within a rhythmically challenging crypt. The roguelike nature ensures each playthrough is distinct. Fifteen playable characters, each with unique styles, add replayability. Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack provides the backdrop to this dance-infused dungeon crawl. Every action, from movement to attacks, must sync with the music; miss a beat, and it's game over. Expect a cast of musically inclined enemies, from dancing skeletons to hip-hop dragons.

More Than Just a Port

This mobile release isn't just a simple port. Crunchyroll and Brace Yourself Games have included remixes, new content, and even Danganronpa character skins. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support enhance the experience. Further, DLC featuring Hatsune Miku and the Synchrony expansion is slated for later this year. Crunchyroll subscribers can download it now from the Google Play Store.
