Critical Role Postpones Campaign 3 Climax Due to Los Angeles Fires

Due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Critical Role has postponed this week's episode of Campaign 3. The impact on the cast, crew, and community has necessitated this delay. While a return to streaming on January 16th is hoped for, further postponements remain a possibility.

Campaign 3 is nearing its thrilling conclusion, with the recent episode ending on a significant cliffhanger. The exact number of remaining episodes is yet to be determined, but the end of this campaign is imminent, potentially paving the way for a new campaign utilizing the Daggerheart TTRPG system.

The January 9th episode cancellation directly resulted from the wildfires' impact. Several cast and crew members experienced significant personal losses, including the loss of a home and belongings. Fortunately, all are safe, though some were forced to evacuate with little notice.

While Critical Role aims to resume streaming on January 16th, patience is urged from the community as the situation unfolds. The Critical Role Foundation, supported by community donations, is contributing $30,000 to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund to aid those affected by the fires. This underscores the show's commitment to its community and reflects the sentiment, "Don't forget to love each other."
