CoH Dev's Earth vs. Mars Unveiled
Relic Entertainment, the studio behind Company of Heroes, is branching out with a new turn-based strategy game: Earth vs. Mars. This smaller-scale title, launching this Summer on PC (Steam), puts players in a desperate fight for Earth's survival against a Martian invasion.
The core gameplay revolves around the Splice-O-Tron, a device used to create bizarre and powerful human-animal hybrids to combat the technologically superior Martian forces. Imagine commanding Squirrel-Cows and Human-Rhinos against Martian saucers and grav-tanks! The game draws inspiration from the classic Nintendo DS title, Advance Wars.
Relic's narrative paints a picture of a long-hidden Martian presence, secretly harvesting Earth's atomic essence. Now, their full-scale invasion has begun, requiring players to lead a diverse band of commanders against the alien threat.

Earth vs. Mars offers a robust experience, including a 30+ mission single-player campaign, online multiplayer with both factions playable, a VS Mode for AI challenges, and a map editor.
Relic CEO Justin Dowdeswell explains this new direction: "We're thrilled to put a Relic spin on the Advance Wars formula, incorporating our signature style while drawing inspiration from past projects. This smaller-scale, indie-style approach lets us explore new genres, experiment creatively, and release games more often, alongside our traditional RTS titles." Add it to your Steam wishlist today!
