Stellar Blade Update Introduces BugsStellar Blade's highly anticipated update, including Photo Mode and NieR: Automata DLC, unfortunately introduced several game-breaking glitches. Shift Up, the developer, is working diligently on a hotfix. Let's delve into the details.

Game-Breaking Bugs and the Upcoming Hotfix

Stellar Blade's Patch 1.009, while delivering the promised Photo Mode and NieR: Automata collaboration, also brought unexpected problems. Players are experiencing softlocks in a specific main quest, preventing progress. Additionally, the selfie camera in Photo Mode is causing crashes for some, and new cosmetic items aren't rendering correctly.

Shift Up is actively developing a hotfix to address these issues. They advise against attempting to force quest progression, recommending patience until the hotfix is released. Forcing progress might lead to a permanent softlock, even after the patch is applied.

NieR: Automata Collaboration and Photo Mode Enhancements

Stellar Blade New ContentPatch 1.009 brings a wealth of new content, headlined by the NieR: Automata collaboration. The developers highlighted the significant inspiration NieR: Automata provided, emphasizing the collaborative spirit between Director Kim Hyung Tae and Director Yoko Taro. Eleven exclusive collaboration items await players who seek out Emil, the NieR character now residing in Stellar Blade's world.

The long-requested Photo Mode is finally here, allowing players to capture stunning images of Eve and her companions. New photo challenges further enhance this feature.

Complementing Photo Mode, Eve receives four new outfits and a new accessory (unlocked after completing a specific ending) that modifies Tachy Mode's appearance. A "No Ponytail" option has been added for greater customization. Other improvements include lip-sync support for six additional languages, enhanced projectile auto-aim and bullet magnet functionality for the instant death skill, and numerous smaller bug fixes for a smoother experience.
