EA Unveils Battlefield Labs: Your Chance to Shape the Next Battlefield Game

EA has launched Battlefield Labs, offering fans a unique opportunity to influence the development of the next Battlefield game. This isn't your typical beta; it's a chance to provide direct feedback and shape the game's direction.

Battlefield Labs Program

What is Battlefield Labs?

Battlefield Labs is a program inviting select players to participate in early, work-in-progress playtests. Participants will experience unfinished game content, encountering more bugs and rough edges than a traditional beta. The goal is to gather critical feedback on combat, map design, balance, and other key aspects. Selected players will be given early access to the next Battlefield game, tentatively titled Battlefield 6.

Initially, a few thousand players in Europe and North America will be included, with plans to expand globally. Battlefield Labs will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Battlefield Labs vs. Beta Testing:

Unlike previous Battlefield betas, Battlefield Labs focuses on gathering feedback on unfinished gameplay. Participants will encounter significant imperfections and are expected to provide detailed feedback. A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is required.

How to Sign Up:

  1. Visit the official Battlefield Labs webpage.
  2. Log in or create an EA account and link it to your preferred gaming platform. Be aware of potential queues and the 15-minute time limit to access the website once your turn arrives.
  3. Complete the registration form, providing the necessary information and email address.
  4. Regularly check your email for updates from the Battlefield Labs newsletter, including playtest invitations.

The next Battlefield game is slated for release in EA's FY26 (before April 1, 2026). Battlefield Labs offers a chance to be part of its creation.
