Baldur\'s Gate 3: How to Romance Naoise Nallinto
Unlocking a Hidden Romance in Baldur's Gate 3: Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress
This guide details a lesser-known romance option in Baldur's Gate 3: Naoise Nallinto. This quick encounter, easily missed, occurs at Sharess' Caress during a pivotal moment in Act III.
Locating Naoise Nallinto
-
Reach Act III: Progress your game to the early stages of Act III. You'll need to reach Wyrm's Crossing on your journey to Baldur's Gate.
-
Visit Sharess' Caress: This brothel is located on the eastern side of the bridge leading into Baldur's Gate. If you've already explored Wyrm's Crossing, use the South Span fast-travel point for direct access.
-
Find the Nymph's Grotto: On the second floor, locate a door with a green light and ivy. This door is locked but easily pickable (requires a lockpicking roll of 10 or higher). Inside is the Nymph's Grotto where Naoise is found.

Initiating the Romance
-
Interact with Naoise and Jara: Upon entering, you'll find Naoise with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier. Their interaction will be interrupted by your arrival.
-
Defeat the Mindflayer: Jara will transform into a Mindflayer after a dialogue exchange. Defeat her to proceed.
-
Engage Naoise: After the fight, Naoise will express interest in Mindflayers. Choose dialogue options that show understanding or intrigue rather than judgment. (Suggested options: "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset." "What did you have in mind?" "Close your eyes and listen.")

-
The Mental Encounter: The romance unfolds mentally. Naoise will ask you to choose what you "will be" from several options (Revered, Contented, Powerful, Rich, or decline). The choice influences the scene.
-
The Aftermath: This encounter is unique; it's a one-time experience. Naoise will show no further romantic interest after this. Note that this encounter doesn't appear to affect existing relationships with other companions.
-
Reward: Shadowheart will grant you the "Carnal Rituals of Sharess" inspiration point. Naoise provides the "Rapture" boon, granting a passive +1d6 to most ability checks.
This unique encounter offers a brief but memorable romantic interlude in Baldur's Gate 3. Remember to explore all dialogue options to fully experience this hidden aspect of the game.
