New Assassin's Creed Shadows Trailer Showcases PC Version Features

Ubisoft has released a new trailer showcasing the PC version of Assassin's Creed Shadows, highlighting its impressive features. The trailer emphasizes support for cutting-edge upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, ensuring optimal performance across a range of hardware. Players can also expect support for ultra-wide monitors, stunning ray tracing effects including RTGI and RT Reflections, and extensive graphics settings to fine-tune the experience for both high-end and lower-spec PCs. A built-in benchmark tool will help players test performance and ensure compatibility.

Minimum specifications for 1080p at 30 FPS include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8 GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8 GB) graphics card. For a breathtaking 4K 60 FPS experience at ultra settings with advanced ray tracing, players will need a more powerful setup: an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, and an RTX 4090 (24 GB) graphics card.

Ubisoft has partnered with Intel to optimize Assassin's Creed Shadows for Intel processors, promising strong performance. Post-launch assessments will determine performance on AMD systems. The developers are aiming to address the stuttering issues that plagued previous entries in the series; Mirage showed significant improvement over Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, offering hope for a smoother experience this time around.

Assassin's Creed Shadows launches on March 20th for PC and consoles.
