Visiting your campsite during the three-hour cycle allows you to speak with visiting animals and farm additional friendship points. The "Tell me a story!" option often leads to gift-giving opportunities (+6 friendship points, even with disliked gifts).

Remember, only red dialogue options yield friendship points. Once an option is used, it resets, preventing repeated point gains.
