The Neo QLED QN90F, QN85F, QN80F, and QN70F are the new 4K Mini-LED models. The top-tier QN90F features a 165Hz refresh rate, Gen 3 processor, and an anti-glare coating, similar to the S95F. The new OLED TVs for 2025, including the S95F, S90F, and S85F, feature several incremental upgrades. The S95F, Samsung's flagship model, boasts a new NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor, a 165Hz refresh rate, an improved anti-glare coating, and an upgraded QD OLED panel promising up to 2,000 nits of brightness. The S90F includes the Gen 3 processor, a 144Hz refresh rate with VRR, and a QD OLED panel with up to 1,300 nits of brightness for TV models 55" and larger. The S85F, considered the "budget" model, features a Gen 2 processor and is currently the only model available.
2025 Samsung The Frame Pro Art TV
Not yet released
The Frame Pro, set to debut this year alongside the standard Frame TV, features a superior Neo QLED Mini-LED panel for richer and brighter colors, a 144Hz refresh rate, new anti-glare technology, and wireless connectivity through a "One Connect" box. The standard The Frame TV will also be available at a more affordable price point.
Samsung QN90D (2024) Review by Jaron Schneider
Samsung's 2024 mini LED QN90D refines the user interface and introduces new features that enhance its value. Though pricey, the brightness, color quality, abundance of HDMI 2.1 ports, and integrated gaming capabilities justify the cost.
AI and Anti-Glare Tech Are the Highlights for Samsung
Like many in the industry, Samsung is heavily investing in AI for 2025. Their "Vision AI" can recognize content specifics, such as actors or settings, and provide real-time, personalized commentary. More models will feature AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro for on-the-fly image optimization, along with Active Voice Amplifier Pro, AI Optimization, and AI Energy Mode. Samsung is also enhancing many TV panels with a matte-like anti-glare coating, similar to the S95D from 2024, which minimizes reflections without desaturating colors.
