How to play Batak Trump Spades.

Number of Players: 4.

The game is played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player receives 13 cards. All spade cards are considered trump cards.

In Swamp Trump Spades, only spades can be called as trump.

The goal is to predict how many tricks you will take before the round begins and then try to win at least that number.

Starting with the player to the dealer's right, everyone states how many tricks they will take, and this is recorded on the scoreboard.

Gameplay:

The next player leads a card of their choice if no card is on the table. If a card is already led, they must follow suit if possible.

If they cannot follow suit, they may play a trump card; otherwise, they can play any card.

Scoring:

After each round, scores are calculated based on the number of tricks bid at the start and the tricks actually won.

If a player wins at least their bid:

Score = 10 x Bid + (Tricks Won - Bid)

If a player wins fewer tricks than their bid:

Score = -10 x Bid

If a player bids zero tricks:

They score +50 points if they take no tricks, or -50 points if they take any trick.

Settling occurs when you fail to meet your bid by the end of the game.
