Thunee, derived from the Tamil word for water, is a beloved trick-taking card game that originated in Durban, South Africa. It draws its roots from the Indian and Sri Lankan game 304, offering players an authentic gaming experience whether playing in Single Player or Multiplayer mode. This app brings the essence of Thunee to your fingertips, ensuring you enjoy the best Thunee gaming experience ever.

To ensure optimal gameplay and to upload or update your scores (wins), an internet connection is necessary. In Multiplayer mode, you can invite friends to join you as a partner or challenge them to a game. Invitations are easily sent via push notifications or WhatsApp messages. The app keeps track of your game results and statistics when playing with friends, which you can view on the statistics page to see who's the top player in your circle.

For beginners, the app offers an Easy difficulty setting with assistance and in-game narration to help learn the ropes. Thunee is highly customizable through the settings/options menu, allowing you to tailor the game to your preferred style of play. You can adjust the following:

• Difficulty Level: Choose between Hard, Medium, or Easy.
• Score Assistance: Available for Medium & Easy settings, providing real-time scores and trick/hand values.
• Bidding Prompts: Set to ask for a bid all the time or only when you have 3 or more of the same suit or J9.
• Early Win/Loss: Option to offer an early win or loss if scores exceed the required amount (on by default).
• Early Victory Claims: Including Double and Khanuck claims.
• Trick Clearance Time: Adjust the duration to clear a trick or click to clear manually (default time is 1 second).
• Vocal Sounds: Enable sounds for bidding, calling Jodhi, and more.
• Game Appearance: Customize the background, choose your color with a vignette effect, and change card packs.
• Royals Inclusion: Play Thunee with reversed card values, where Queens become Jacks, Kings become Nines, etc.
