Game Introduction

Engage in the classic game against AI bots or through a local network (LAN or WiFi).

"Sea Battle" is a two-player game where participants take turns calling out coordinates on their opponent's hidden map.

If a ship is located at those coordinates, the ship or a segment of it is "sunk",

and the player who scored the hit earns the right to take another turn. The primary goal is to be the first to sink all of your opponent's ships.

Each player uses a standard 10x10 grid to position their fleet of ships.

The fleet composition is as follows:

1 ship occupies 4 consecutive cells (a "four-decker"; battleship)

2 ships occupy 3 consecutive cells each ("three-deckers"; cruisers)

3 ships occupy 2 consecutive cells each ("double-deckers"; destroyers)

4 ships occupy a single cell each ("single-deckers"; torpedo boats)

When placing ships, they must not touch each other, even at the corners or sides.

Adjacent to your own grid is an identically-sized "enemy" grid, initially empty. This represents the area of sea where the opponent's fleet is located.

A hit on an enemy ship is marked with a cross on the enemy grid, while a miss is marked with a dot. The player who lands a hit gets to shoot again.

The winner is the player who successfully sinks all 10 of the opponent's ships first.

You can play against AI bots of varying difficulty or connect locally via LAN or WiFi. An internet connection is not required!

LAN Connection Options:

- Create a WiFi hotspot on one device and connect to it from another.

- Connect multiple devices to the same router.
