Clapperboard offers a revolutionary way to record videos and verify their authenticity using blockchain technology. With Clapperboard, you can use any camera, including CCTV, web, action, or built-in drone cameras, to capture your footage and ensure its integrity and authorship.
To start using Clapperboard, you'll need to create an account and add funds to your balance. Here's how to create an authentic video:
- Comment on the Video: Add a comment to the video you're about to record.
- Request a QR-Code: Generate a unique QR-code through Clapperboard.
- Show the QR-Code on Camera: Ensure the QR-code is visible in the video you are recording.
Once you've completed these steps, the QR-code and your comment will be permanently stored in the NEM blockchain. After recording, you'll have your authentic video ready.
To confirm that your video has not been altered and was created after the QR-code was generated, upload the video segment showing the QR-code to the http://product.prover.io/ service. Upon successful verification, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity detailing the video's integrity.
