De Game Awards 2024: een blik op de genomineerden en waar je ze kunt bekijken

De Game Awards 2024, gepresenteerd door Geoff Keighley, heeft de genomineerden in 19 categorieën bekendgemaakt, waaronder de felbegeerde Game of the Year (GOTY)-prijs. De kanshebbers van dit jaar vertegenwoordigen een breed scala aan titels, van AAA-blockbusters tot indie-lievelingen.

GOTY 2024: een geweldige line-up

De race voor GOTY is dit jaar bijzonder hevig, met een sterk deelnemersveld, waaronder:

• Astro Bot: Een doorbraak die wordt geprezen om zijn innovatieve gameplay.
• Balatro: Een veelgeprezen indietitel.
• Black Myth: Wukong: Een cultureel fenomeen dat spelers over de hele wereld boeit.
• Metafoor: ReFantazio: Een langverwachte RPG.
• Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree: De Elden Ring-uitbreiding, een controversiële maar belangrijke toevoeging aan het gaminglandschap.
• Final Fantasy VII Rebirth: Leidt het peloton met in totaal zeven nominaties.

Stemmen en de prijsuitreiking

Fans kunnen nu tot 11 december hun stem uitbrengen via de officiële website van The Game Awards en de Discord-server. De winnaars worden op 12 december 2024 bekendgemaakt tijdens een liveceremonie in het Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. De show wordt live gestreamd op de website van The Game Awards, Twitch, TikTok, YouTube en andere platforms.
