A recent leak suggests a new event for Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.5 update, featuring a multiplayer platformer game mode reminiscent of Fall Guys. This temporary event, potentially titled "Grand Marcel," is expected to arrive alongside the update's launch in late January.

Version 1.4 introduced two new characters and an S-Rank Bangboo, along with permanent battle-focused modes. However, Zenless Zone Zero frequently incorporates temporary, event-specific game modes offering diverse gameplay experiences, such as the current "Bangboo vs Ethereal" tower defense event.

The leak, originating from community leaker Palito, showcases screenshots of stages strikingly similar to Fall Guys. While the specifics remain unclear, the mode is likely temporary and exclusive to the "Grand Marcel" event. It's uncertain whether players will control their usual characters or Bangboo within these platforming challenges. The event is anticipated to reward players with valuable in-game items like Polychromes, supplementing the rumored additional free pulls for Version 1.5.

This isn't HoYoverse's first foray into platformer events. Honkai Impact 3rd's 6.1 update included a similar "Midnight Chronicle" event. Given the popularity of Zenless Zone Zero's Bangboo, it's possible players might participate as chibi versions of their characters or even as the beloved Bangboo.

Version 1.5, slated for January 22nd, will introduce the highly anticipated Astra Yao and Evelyn. Previous leaks also hinted at a first character skin for Nicole and a potential Agent Story for Ellen.
