S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl's substantial 1.2 update boasts over 1,700 bug fixes and improvements, showcasing GSC Game World's commitment to refining the game. This extensive patch addresses numerous issues across various game systems.
Key improvements include refined NPC behavior, particularly concerning corpse interaction and looting, along with enhanced shooting mechanics and reactions to stealth. Mutant behavior has also seen several bug fixes. Balance adjustments have been made to pistols and suppressors. The update further includes a significant number of story mode bug fixes, optimization enhancements to address FPS drops and errors, and multiple audio improvements.
