New Need For Speed won't come out in the nearest future

EA's Vince Zampella, Executive Vice President, recently provided an update on the Need for Speed franchise. With over two years having passed since the release of NFS Unbound, EA remains quiet on the series' future.

This silence is due to Criterion Games' current commitment to developing the next Battlefield title. Zampella emphasized that this Battlefield installment is EA's top priority, incorporating substantial player feedback.
