After investigating the visitor and learning about "Shards of Time," The Sims 4 tasks you with a scavenger hunt. The game offers cryptic clues, hinting that these shards are hidden within everyday objects like couches and refrigerators.

To begin your search, head to a residential area brimming with potential hiding spots. Whether it's your Sim's home or a neighbor's, systematically search every item you can find. Remember, not every search will yield a shard, but you can repeatedly search the same object. Persistence is key!
