From February 21st to 23rd, attendees of the in-person events in New Taipei City, Taiwan, and Los Angeles, USA, will have the chance to encounter and fuse Kyurem.

Capturing and Fusing Kyurem

Pokemon Go Unova Tour Features Black and White KyuremTo obtain base Kyurem, players must defeat either Black or White Kyurem in five-star raids. Once captured, Kyurem can be fused with either Zekrom (for Black Kyurem) or Reshiram (for White Kyurem), unlocking powerful new attacks: Freeze Shock (Black Kyurem) and Ice Burn (White Kyurem).

Here's the breakdown of fusion requirements:

  • Black Kyurem: 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy
  • White Kyurem: 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy

Fusion Energy is earned by defeating Black or White Kyurem in raids. Reversing the fusion process back to base Kyurem requires no resources. Increased Shiny rates for Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom will also be in effect during the event.
