A Perfect Day Is a New Time-Loop Narrative Puzzle Where You Go Back to 1999

A Perfect Day Pocket – Go back to 1999, a new Android title from Littoral Games, offers a nostalgic trip to 1999. Fans of their previous games, Growing Up and Chinese Parents, will appreciate the familiar cozy atmosphere and similar watercolor art style, which powerfully conveys the narrative.

Launching at a discounted price of $1.99 from February 27th to March 5th (regular price $2.99), the game includes a special bonus for pre-registrants: a Panda Quake Mini 4WD, claimable from Brother Cao at the Youth Palace. A limited-time Easter egg, the Old Uniform, is also available in 'My Bedroom' until March 26th.

A Time-Loop Puzzle in 1999

As the title suggests, players relive the final day of 1999 in a time-loop puzzle. This nostalgic 90s setting is a hallmark of Littoral Games' work. The game features seven time segments, eleven main characters, twenty event cards, and one free DLC. Players control an elementary schoolboy trapped in a time loop, similar to Groundhog Day, aiming to help everyone achieve their "perfect day" on December 31st, 1999.

Choices and Consequences

A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999 centers on memories, regrets, and the impact of choices. Players revisit childhood friendships, explore the lives of their parents, and make decisions that significantly alter the story's outcome. The interconnected narrative allows for varied experiences with each repeated day.

The game also includes several mini-games, including a Mini 4WD race, a Gamicom console, and an arcade, perfectly capturing the essence of 90s gaming. The blend of interactive storytelling and nostalgic visuals makes this a compelling experience.

Available on the Google Play Store, the game's trailer provides a visual preview.
