NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile
NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run since its global Android launch, the game will officially shut down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected.
This 4v1 asymmetrical horror-survival title, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful Dead by Daylight, first arrived on PC in June 2016. Its mobile counterpart debuted in April 2020.
Dead by Daylight Mobile pitted players against each other as either Killer or Survivor in a thrilling game of cat and mouse. Killers aimed to sacrifice Survivors to The Entity, while Survivors fought for survival.
Dead by Daylight Mobile's EOS Date:
The official shutdown date for Dead by Daylight Mobile is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date.
NetEase will process refunds according to regional laws. Further details on the refund process will be released on January 16th, 2025.
Players seeking to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits new players making the switch, and existing mobile players will receive loyalty rewards based on in-game spending and XP earned.
Download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store before January 16th, 2025, to experience the game one last time. For another exciting mobile gaming option, check out our article on Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game on Android.
