MySims and MySims Kingdom make their way to mobile in Apple Arcade debut

MySims and MySims Kingdom are heading to mobile
Specifically, launching on Apple Arcade early next month for all subscribers
The two retro spin-offs deliver a cozier, story-driven take on the iconic life sim
Before The Sims 4 emerged as the franchise’s central focus, The Sims explored many experimental directions. With portable gaming rising in the 2000s, we were gifted the unexpectedly delightful MySims series—long before other mobile life sims like Tomodachi took shape.
So why am I bringing this up? This isn’t The Sims News! But here’s the thing: beloved fans, the MySims series is finally making its way to mobile. Starting November 6th, Apple Arcade subscribers can step into the charming worlds of both the original MySims and the medieval-themed MySims Kingdom!
Moving away from the open-ended gameplay of the original, MySims centers on quests and narrative arcs featuring a core group of recurring characters—imagine Animal Crossing with a dash of classic Sims charm.

My my my my, my Sim-ona
It’s a little bittersweet to see MySims labeled as “retro” in the official announcement. Still, I’m sure many of our older readers are finding comfort in the term—especially since, until now, we’ve only had the original, heavily cut-down mobile version of MySims.
Though the MySims series strayed far from the core Sims experience, it’s absolutely worth playing for it. Instead of simulating slow-burn emotional spirals and accidental pool fires, MySims offers a gentle, cozy escape.
Keep an eye on Apple Arcade—you’re about to rediscover the blocky-headed world of Sims-like charm all over again!
