Modders have restored content cut from Bloodborne and made it work on PC
The Bloodborne Magnum Opus mod, now available for PC, restores all cut content from the original game, including multiple simultaneous boss encounters. While some texture and animation issues persist, enemy functionality remains intact.
Beyond content restoration, Magnum Opus significantly alters Bloodborne. Expect revised weapon and armor sets, and enemies relocated throughout the game world. The accompanying video showcases several of these new boss encounters.
While an official PC port was nearly a reality last August, and Hidetaka Miyazaki has expressed interest, no official announcement has been made. This leaves PC players relying on emulators and workarounds.
The recent emergence of a functional PS4 emulator has dramatically shifted the landscape. Modders quickly accessed the character editor, though full gameplay remained elusive—until now. Online videos demonstrate playable Bloodborne on PC, though imperfections are evident.
