Marvel Rivals Unveils New Character Data
Marvel Rivals' First Month: Hero Data Unveiled by NetEase
NetEase has released comprehensive player statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting the most and least popular heroes during the game's initial month. The data reveals player preferences and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes on both PC and console.
Season 1's arrival, featuring the Fantastic Four, prompted this data release. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman debut immediately, with The Human Torch and The Thing following mid-season.
Top Picks:
The "Hero Hot List" shows clear favorites:
- Jeff the Land Shark: Dominates Quickplay on both PC and console.
- Cloak & Dagger: Reigns supreme in Console Competitive matches.
- Luna Snow: The top pick for PC Competitive players.
Top Win Rates:
While Jeff enjoys immense popularity, Mantis boasts the highest win rate overall, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%). Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock follow closely behind. These statistics are subject to change with Season 1's launch and accompanying balance adjustments.
Underperformers:
At the other end of the spectrum, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with extremely low pick rates: 1.66% in Quickplay and a mere 0.69% in Competitive. Player feedback often cites her underwhelming damage and frustrating gameplay. However, NetEase has announced significant buffs for Storm in Season 1, potentially boosting her popularity and win rate.
