The last major Baldur's Gate III patch entered the stress test stage

Baldur's Gate III's eighth and potentially final major patch is now undergoing stress testing. While some Sony console players received early access, players opting out are advised to reinstall the game.

Patch 8 introduces highly anticipated cross-platform play between PC and consoles, enabled through linked Larian accounts. This even extends to modded games, provided all mods are available across Mac, PC, and consoles, and the host's mod count remains below ten.

Xbox Series S users will finally be able to enjoy split-screen co-op, a feature previously unavailable on this console.

Additional features in Patch 8 include a fully customizable photo mode and twelve new subclasses, enhancing gameplay diversity. Bug fixes and balance adjustments have also been implemented, although some issues may persist. A complete changelog is available on the game's official website.
