LEGO Nintendo: Top Franchise for 2025 Set?

The LEGO Nintendo collaborations have already yielded some amazing sets, like last year's interactive Mario and Yoshi set and the first-ever LEGO Legend of Zelda set. However, the current selection primarily focuses on Mario (including Donkey Kong) and Animal Crossing. As a LEGO and Nintendo enthusiast, I yearn for more! Which Nintendo franchise deserves the LEGO treatment next?

With the upcoming Switch 2, excitement for Nintendo's future is high. We can likely expect more LEGO Nintendo sets, fueled by new movies (the upcoming Mario movie and a potential live-action Zelda adaptation) and future Switch game releases. What franchises could realistically get the LEGO treatment in 2025 and beyond? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Personally, I believe Metroid offers the most potential for amazing LEGO sets. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, it's the perfect time for some incredible builds. Additionally, I'd love to see official LEGO Pokémon sets beyond the existing MEGA sets, although licensing agreements might make this challenging.
