Iconic Bethesda Voice Actor of Skyrim, Fallout 3, and More Found 'Barely Alive' as Family Seek Support

Beloved Bethesda voice actor Wes Johnson, known for his roles in Skyrim, Fallout 3, Starfield, and numerous other titles, is critically ill. His family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover mounting medical expenses and living costs during his recovery.

According to a PC Gamer report, Johnson's wife, Kim, and family initiated the fundraiser after he was found unresponsive and barely conscious in his hotel room. The incident occurred following his scheduled appearance at a National Alzheimer's Foundation benefit event in Atlanta on January 22nd. His absence triggered an emergency response, with hotel security discovering him unconscious and paramedics struggling to detect a pulse.

The GoFundMe campaign, initially aiming for $50,000, has already surpassed its goal significantly, exceeding $144,791 in donations from over 2,200 supporters. Beyond his extensive video game voice acting career with Bethesda, Johnson is also a long-standing public address announcer for the Washington Capitals hockey team and has a diverse background in film and television.

His memorable Bethesda roles include Ron Hope in Starfield, Sheogorath and Lucien Lachance in Oblivion, multiple Daedric Princes in Morrowind, Fawkes and Maister Burke in Fallout 3, Hermaeus Mora and Emperor Titus Mede II in Skyrim, and Moe Cronin in Fallout 4, among many others. The outpouring of support from fans underscores the impact of his work and the widespread concern for his well-being.
