Halo Infinite's PvE Mode Draws Inspiration from Helldivers' Playbook
Forge Falcons Unleashes Helldivers 2-Inspired PvE Mode in Halo Infinite
Now Available on Xbox and PC!
The Halo Infinite community has a new reason to celebrate! The Forge Falcons, a dedicated community development team, has released "Helljumpers," a thrilling PvE mode heavily inspired by Helldivers 2. This free, early access experience is available now for Xbox and PC players within Halo Infinite Custom Games.
Created using Halo Infinite's Forge mapmaking tools, Helljumpers delivers a unique 4-player cooperative experience. As described by The Forge Falcons, it's a direct homage to Arrowhead Game Studios' 2024 hit, Helldivers 2. The mode features: custom-designed strategic elements; a meticulously crafted urban map with dynamically generated objectives; and a progression system mirroring Helldivers 2's rewarding upgrade unlocks.
Helljumpers plunges players into intense combat, deploying them six times per match, similar to the Helldivers formula. Before each deployment, players select personalized loadouts from a range of weapons, including Assault Rifles, Sidekick pistols, and more. These weapons can be re-supplied via the dropship. Players can also enhance their capabilities with upgrade perks focusing on health, damage, and speed. The objective? Complete three missions – one story-driven objective and two primary objectives – before extraction.
