G.I. Joe Goes Heavy Metal in Hasbro's Incredible Cold Slither Box Set

IGN gets an exclusive first look at Hasbro's latest G.I. Joe Classified Series release: the Cold Slither band, featuring Zartan and the Dreadnoks. This highly anticipated boxed set, inspired by a classic G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero episode, will be a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive this summer.

The G.I. Joe Classified: Dreadnoks Cold Slither – Band of Vipers action figure set includes 6-inch figures of Zartan, Ripper, Buzzer, and Torch, fully outfitted for their world tour. The set boasts an impressive 29 accessories, including a guitar, bass, keytar, and drum set. Even the packaging is designed to mimic the Springfield Theater.

This collectible set will be available exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con (July 24-27, 2025), with limited quantities subsequently released on the Hasbro Pulse website.

For fans of vintage G.I. Joe, Hasbro and Super7 are collaborating on a Cold Slither Zartan ReAction+ figure. This 3.75-inch figure, featuring O-ring construction and retro packaging, glows in the dark under UV light and includes a microphone and guitar. Pre-orders start April 3rd at 9:15 AM PT on the Super7 website, priced at $20.

Adding to the musical theme, Hasbro and Reigning Phoenix Music are releasing an actual Cold Slither album. The album, featuring the title track "Cold Slither," promises 10 tracks of heavy metal anthems.
