Genshin Impact: Android Controller Support Arrives in 5.5

Genshin Impact players on Android rejoice! Controller support is finally arriving with Version 5.5, launching March 26th, 2025. This long-awaited feature, already available on iOS since 2021, will allow for a more comfortable and immersive gameplay experience.

Genshin Impact Android Controller Support: Launch Date and Compatible Controllers

Starting March 26th, 2025, Android users can connect their preferred controller and say goodbye to touchscreen controls. The update will officially support the DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2—all requiring Bluetooth connectivity.

Version 5.5: More Than Just Controller Support

Version 5.5 brings more than just controller support. Expect significant quality-of-life improvements, including cross-scene quest tracking. This streamlined feature allows seamless quest tracking across different areas, simply by opening the map and teleporting directly to your objective.

Boss guides are also receiving an update, designed to enhance understanding of enemy mechanics, particularly beneficial for newer players. Further optimizations are planned for the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system, with full details to be unveiled during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th.
