Starting January 17, 2025, Godzilla invades Fortnite Chapter 6. To gain a colossal advantage, you'll need to find a rift. These appear randomly on the Battle Royale Island, only once per match. Be the first to locate and jump into the rift, and you'll transform into Godzilla himself!

Once transformed, unleash Godzilla's devastating abilities: the Roar to pinpoint nearby players, the Mighty Stomp Attack to send foes flying, and the powerful Heat Ray for massive damage. However, be warned: the entire lobby will be gunning for you!

How to Defeat Godzilla in Fortnite

If you weren't lucky enough to become Godzilla, prepare for an epic battle! Epic Games has strategically placed weak points on Godzilla. Hitting these will cause Godzilla Fragments to drop, rewarding you with 40 health and three dash charges – crucial for mobility during the fight.

The Rail Gun has been unvaulted for this event, offering a powerful weapon to quickly deal significant damage. Higher-rarity weapons are also effective, so loot strategically. The player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla receives the coveted Godzilla Medallion (with its own dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.

Defeating Godzilla is a challenging but rewarding experience, granting you bragging rights and some seriously impressive loot.
