Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth have received updates that fix the controller issue

Patches for Final Fantasy VII Remake are now available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5. This update resolves controller vibration issues stemming from motor malfunctions. The game follows Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER, as he joins Avalanche to thwart Shinra Electric Power Company's plan to destroy the planet.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the sequel continuing the story beyond Midgar, receives update 1.080. This update enhances the game's atmosphere and realism, providing a more immersive and tactile experience. The PC version launches January 23, 2025. This second installment in the trilogy expands the narrative with a strong emphasis on exploration.

While Final Fantasy XVI's initial May 2024 sales were disappointing, subsequent sales slowed, ultimately falling short of fiscal year projections. Specific sales figures remain undisclosed. Similarly, Square Enix has not released sales data for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which also underperformed expectations.

The company clarified that it doesn't consider Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a complete sales failure. Furthermore, they remain confident that Final Fantasy XVI can still meet its targets within the 18-month timeframe.
