My Father Lied A Mesopotamia-themed Point and Click Title Launches in May
Uncover the mystery surrounding your father's disappearance in "My Father Lied," a captivating point-and-click adventure game launching May 30th!
Ahmed Alameen, a writer and filmmaker, presents his debut title: a narrative-driven puzzle adventure inspired by Mesopotamian history. Step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman who embarks on a quest to unravel her father's vanishing act twenty years after his disappearance, a mystery further complicated by the revelation of an unknown sibling.

Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins after a team split, mastering game design to bring his vision to life. The gameplay involves classic point-and-click mechanics, challenging you to piece together images, decipher codes, and explore strikingly beautiful, albeit uniquely rendered, environments. He cites influences from Myst, Heaven's Vault, and the chilling tales of H.P. Lovecraft.
Instead of highly detailed 3D modeling, Alameen employed a blend of 2D and 360-degree imagery, even for the meticulously crafted frame-by-frame cutscenes. This innovative approach ensures stunning visuals playable on less powerful PCs.
"My Father Lied" will be available on May 30th for $10.99/€ on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam. Add it to your Steam Wishlist now! Mobile pre-registration isn't yet available.
