Filming for Fallout season two commences next month, as confirmed by returning cast member Leslie Uggams (Betty Pearson) in an interview with Screen Rant. The renewal follows the show's successful debut.
Screen Rant reports that season two will continue exploring the Vault-Tec narrative and address the season one cliffhanger. While the complete returning cast remains unconfirmed, Ella Purnell (Lucy MacLean) and Walton Goggins (Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard) are expected to reprise their roles. Uggams offered a cryptic tease about her character's role: "I am with the Vault People, so I didn’t get to see what the Earth people were doing," she stated. "So when it came on, I was blown away. But Betty’s got some things up her sleeve. Just stay tuned."
A tentative release date of 2026 is anticipated, factoring in filming and post-production. However, an official release date is yet to be announced. For context, Fallout season one filmed around July 2022 and premiered in April 2024.
Fallout S2 Heads to New Vegas

According to producer Graham Wagner, Fallout season two will venture to New Vegas, introducing Robert House, the antagonist from Fallout: New Vegas. The extent of House's involvement remains unclear, though his presence was hinted at in a season one flashback.
Wagner and showrunner Robertson-Dworet have previously indicated that season two will delve deeper into untold stories and expand on season one's pivotal moments, focusing on Vault-Tec executives, the origins of the Great War, and character development through flashbacks.
