Dune Awakening received new trailer and official release date

The anticipation for Dune: Awakening, the survival MMO based on Denis Villeneuve's acclaimed films, is reaching fever pitch. Funcom has confirmed the PC launch date: May 20th! Console players will need to wait a bit longer, but the recently released gameplay trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse of what's to come.

The trailer showcases the game's key features: the harsh Arrakis desert landscape, extensive base-building mechanics, thrilling combat encounters, and the iconic sandworms. It's everything a Dune fan could hope for.

Players will take on the role of a prisoner on Arrakis, beginning their journey with an escape from captivity. Their quest? To unravel the mystery surrounding the vanished Fremen.
