Cyberpunk Duo Snubs Fortnite Crossover
Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Debut: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly awaited the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 content, a crossover many anticipated. While the collaboration delivered a stylish item set, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked fan speculation and debate regarding CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. The explanation, however, is far less complex.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's lore expert and decision-maker for this collaboration, clarified the choice. The bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. Opting for the female V was a logical choice given Johnny's male character, and also a personal preference for Mills.

Therefore, the omission of the male V wasn't a calculated decision, but rather a practical one. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin appearance, following the earlier addition of John Wick.
