How to Cure Food Poisoning in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, food poisoning can be a serious threat. This guide explains how to cure it and prevent it in the future.
Curing Food Poisoning
The only cure for food poisoning in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a digestive potion. Delaying treatment will lead to Henry's death.
You can obtain a digestive potion in two ways:
- Purchase: Most apothecaries sell digestive potions for a few groschen. Locations include Troskowitz, Trosky Castle, and the Nomads' Camp.
- Brew: Purchase the recipe from an apothecary and craft your own. This is a more sustainable solution. Ingredients include two thistles, two nettles, water, and one charcoal. The brewing process involves boiling the thistles in water for two turns, adding the ground nettles and boiling for one turn, then adding ground charcoal before pouring the potion. Note: Bozhena's hut offers a peaceful alchemy station; using others may anger shopkeepers.
Preventing Food Poisoning
To avoid food poisoning, always check the Freshness meter on consumable items in your inventory. A red meter indicates a risk of food poisoning. Only consume items with a white Freshness meter. Consider using perks to slow food spoilage or preserving food through cooking or drying.
