Complete Pokémon GO Event Schedule, February 2025

Get ready for a jam-packed February in Pokémon GO! This month's events kick off with a Lunar New Year celebration and culminate in the Road to Unova event, leading into March's Pokémon GO Tour: Unova. Here's the complete schedule:

Lunar New Year Event: January 29 – February 2

Ring in the Year of the Snake! This event boosts the appearance of snake-themed Pokémon like Ekans, Onix, Snivy, Darumaka, Dunsparce, Gyarados, and Dratini (many with shiny possibilities!). Enjoy increased Lucky Pokémon trade chances, easier Lucky Friend status, and daily Field Research tasks rewarding PokéCoins. 2KM Eggs will hatch Makuhita, Nosepass, Meditite, Duskull, and Skorupi (shiny possibilities!).

Legendary Flight Dynamax Moltres Event: February 3 – 9

Dynamax Moltres takes flight! On February 3rd, from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, challenge Dynamax Moltres as a Max Monday boss at all Power Spots. Afterward, continue the challenge until February 9th, though Moltres will be at fewer locations as Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble join the Max Battle rotation until February 10th.

Karrablast & Shelmet Community Day: February 9

A dual Community Day featuring Karrablast and Shelmet! From 2 PM to 5 PM local time, enjoy boosted encounter rates, increased shiny odds, and evolution bonuses. Evolve Karrablast or Shelmet by February 16th at 10 PM for an Escavalier knowing Razor Shell or an Accelgor knowing Energy Ball, respectively. A premium Timed Research is available for purchase.
