Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! The February Community Day event details are here, featuring Karrablast and Shelmet as the stars. The event runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on February 9th, 2025.

Featured Pokémon:

Karrablast and Shelmet will have increased spawn rates in the wild, boosting your chances of catching them – and even their Shiny forms! The real excitement lies in their evolutions.

Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe grants an Accelgor with the Charged Attack Energy Ball (a hefty 90 power in all battle types).

Special Research and Timed Research:

Participate in the Special Research for encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, plus a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. A week-long Timed Research event follows the main event, unlocking further encounters with these Pokémon and their unique backgrounds.
