Anime Vanguards' Winter Update 3.0: A Festive Frost-Filled Frenzy!

Developer Kitawari has unleashed Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0, bringing a blizzard of changes to this popular tower defense game. Prepare for a revamped lobby, a host of new units, exciting game modes, and a plethora of quality-of-life improvements designed to keep the winter spirit alive.

The most striking change? The lobby itself has undergone a complete transformation. Expect a significantly larger space and a remastered UI, including a much-improved stage selection interface. Kitawari explains in the patch notes: "The old lobby was too small and cramped. This new lobby is 10 times better, and features a customizable day/night cycle!"

Key highlights of the update include:

• 12 New Units: These recruits are scattered across a new Winter Banner, the Portals game mode, the Battle Pass, and leaderboard rewards. Specific units include Emmie (and her Ice Witch variant), Rom and Ran, Foboko, Karem, Rogita, Soburo, Regnaw, Dodara, Sosora, Seban, Rodock, and Giyu.

• New Game Modes: Dive into "Portals," a unique mode where using winter units and skins boosts rewards. Experiment freely in the new Sandbox Mode, offering unrestricted unit testing and strategic freedom.

• Quality-of-Life Enhancements: Experience smoother unit placement, improved search functionality for skins and familiars, clearer enemy targeting indicators, and Evolution Quests now conveniently located in a dedicated tab.

• Winter Currency and Rewards: Earn winter currency in Portals to summon new units and skins, or spend it in the Winter Shop. The update also boasts a refreshed Battle Pass with numerous rewards, including exclusive units. New leaderboard units, tournament titles, collection milestones, and an Enemy Index are also added.

• Other Additions: Enjoy a rerun of the Blood-Red Commander Igros boss event (with weekly cycling!), unit XP fusing, a revamped trophy exchange shop, enhanced spectate mode options, a new base health system ("stocks"), and access to a hidden challenge via a Worldlines reward. The update also includes numerous UI improvements, new filters, and a switch to Roblox's new chat service with automatic translation.
